The College of Human Kinetics, in partnership with the International Association of Physical Education and Sports (IAPES), recently hosted an insightful international webinar titled "Literacy for Life: Inspiring Active and Engaged Communities."

The webinar explored the importance of physical literacy and its impact on overall well-being. Experts in human kinetics, sports, and education shared innovative approaches to integrating physical literacy in schools and communities to inspire lifelong active engagement.

This event served as an important platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration among 200 participants which included teachers, fitness specialists, and undergraduate and graduate students from Pakistan, Indonesia, Nigeria, India, and the Philippines.

The OIC University President, Dr. Arthur Ibanez, and the Campus Executive Officer, Engr. Roger Rumpon graced the event, delivering remarks that underscored the significance of promoting physical education and community health.

Through this partnership, the College of Human Kinetics continues its commitment to enriching the global dialogue on physical literacy, its impact on communities, and its role in building a more active, connected world.
