The College of Veterinary Medicine recently hosted an insightful international webinar on Sustainable Animal Management: Health, Welfare, and Environmental Impact. This event gathered veterinary professionals, animal welfare experts, and sustainability advocates from around the globe to discuss the pressing challenges and innovative solutions in managing livestock and companion animals.

The webinar focused on the three key pillars of sustainable animal management: animal health, animal welfare, and the environmental impact of animal agriculture. Leading experts in the field explored how advances in veterinary science can promote the health and well-being of animals while minimizing negative environmental consequences.
The presence of the Campus Executive Officer, Engr. Roger Rumpon and the OIC University President, Dr. Arthur Ibanez, honored the webinar.

Engr. Rumpon delivered an inspiring opening address, emphasizing the importance of integrating sustainable solutions into animal management to ensure a healthier planet and a better future for both animals and humans. The University President also shared a message of support, underscoring the university's dedication to advancing research and education in veterinary science and environmental sustainability.
